A nice diversity of venues starting this month!
“Vernal,” one of my watercolor collages, is appearing in the Art Guild of Pacifica’s “Green” show at the Sanchez Art Center through July 13 (F-S-S 1-5).
Six other collages — including three of the original “Haiku” series — are part of the “Visions” show at the Marin Civic Center in San Rafael. This show, sponsored by the Marin Arts Council, can be seen M-F 9-5 through the entire summer, until September 10.
“Favorite Things” is this month’s show at the San Francisco Women Artists’ gallery (Sacramento@Laurel, open T-W-Th 12-5 and F-S 11:45-5:30). It includes one of my favorite sea shells, “Fossil.”
Being from Connecticut, and with friends and family there, I enjoy having my paintings travel to that state. This time, “Lake Merced, San Francisco,” a watercolor/pastel, is making the trip, as I was once again fortunate enough to be selected for the Connecticut Women Artists’ Open Juried Exhibition (the 80th annual). The show takes place at the University of Connecticut’s Jorgensen Gallery in Storrs from June 14 to July 24.
