“Lake on Fire,” a watercolor mosaic depicting one of the wildland fires that my son fought during the summer of 2007, is part of the “Mosaics” show at Artworks Downtown in San Rafael, through April 23. The gallery is at 1337 Fourth Street and is open T-W-Th-F-S 10-5.
The Thoreau Gallery at the Thoreau Center for Sustainability, located in San Francisco’s Presidio and open M-F 9-5, is hosting “Expressions of the Bay Area,” a juried show featuring works by members of San Francisco Women Artists. The show opens March 19 and runs until May 28. My pastel landscape “Marin Headlands (One)” is part of the show.
“Immersion,” one of my watercolor interpretations of water, can still be seen in the Marin Arts Council’s annual members’ show — through March 26 at the Marin Civic Center in San Rafael (M-F 9-5).
“Relic,” a sea shell watercolor, is in the Art Guild of Pacifica’s “Deja Vu” show at the Sanchez Art Center, 1220 Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica. The show runs through March 28. The center is open F-S-S 1-5.
